About us

Levantin is an industrial design studio founded by brothers Sergei and Aleksandr Lvov. Their journey began in 2012 with bold experiments in furniture restoration, which shaped the core principles of their design approach: responsible creativity and meaningful objects. Levantin Studio has been based in Meda, near Milan, the historic heart of Italy’s furniture industry, where the studio works in close connection with leading manufacturers and artisanal workshops.

The studio’s creative direction is led by Sergei Lvov, a graduate of the Academy of Design and Arts. His vision is rooted in a synthesis of metamodernism and natural aesthetics: a balance between emotional expression and form, combined with the natural character of textures and colour palettes inspired by landscapes and natural phenomena. Eastern European cultural heritage, rich in references to the avant-garde and constructivism, becomes the lens through which the studio reinterprets Italian craftsmanship, traditions, and materials, shaping a distinctive and recognisable design language. The result is a collection of cosmopolitan objects with artistic value, created to bring pleasure to those who see the world through a creative lens.

Levantin Studio’s work has been showcased at prestigious international exhibitions and design events, including Salone del Mobile, Milan Design Week, Maison&Objet, Paris Design Week, and Stockholm Furniture Fair. The studio has been honoured with awards including the Archiproducts Design Award, European Product Design Award, LOOP Design Award, and IDA Award. Its projects have also been featured in leading design publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, Domus, Frame, and Interni.
