About us

Levantin is an industrial design studio founded by brothers Sergei and Aleksandr Lvov. Their journey began in 2012 with bold experiments in furniture restoration, which shaped the core principles of their work: responsible creativity and meaningful objects.

The studio's design vision is curated by Sergei, a graduate of the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts. At its core lies a synthesis of metamodernism and natural aesthetics — melding emotional resonance and expressive form with the organic beauty of textures and colors inspired by natural phenomena and landscapes. This approach results in cosmopolitan objects of artistic value, designed to bring pleasure to those with a creative perspective on the world. Levantin’s works have been exhibited at prestigious international fairs such as Maison&Objet, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Paris Design Week and have received awards including the European Product Design Award, LOOP Design Awards, and IDA Award. Their projects have been featured in leading publications like Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, Domus, Interni, Wired, and Hospitality Design.

Since 2022, the studio has been based in Meda, integrating into one of the world's most renowned furniture communities. By immersing itself in local manufacturing practices, Levantin absorbs the conceptual Italian approach to design — embracing the legacy of past generations of creators while merging craftsmanship and technology to address contemporary challenges. The studio’s Eastern European cross-cultural background, shaped by avant-garde, constructivist, and socialist design influences, offers a fresh perspective on craftsmanship, traditions, and materials, continuously discovering new ways to bring them to life.
