The Esonma collection is an elegant combination of natural textures and monolithic surfaces. It is based on a subtle understanding of the natural balance of materials. Embodying the idea of cyclicality, whereby even large mountains eventually turn into sea pebbles. Her name is a neologism created from the phrase la presa sul fondo marino, meaning to grip the seabed. Esonma explores the untapped potential of the stone fragments left behind in the production process after cutting slabs. These have been given new life as accent islands, creating a showcase tabletop setting. Like rock fragments deposited by the restless waters of the Ligurian sea on top of underwater sand dunes.
