Carax dining table

Carax is a table that defines space through a balance of protection and openness. Its expressive silhouette emerges from the contrast between mass and supporting structure: the monolithic tabletop is carried by a curved metal shell. Softly developed into a semi-cylindrical form, it recalls natural protective systems, where strength arises from the geometry of the shape itself. The table's name derives from the Latin carapax – the shell, a symbol of stability and inner order.

The light marble top appears as a static horizon. Its natural texture adds depth and visual softness, creating a sense of continuity and timelessness. Vertical marble inserts, paired with the metal base, unify the composition, forming a system in which material and structure exist in a state of mutual balance. Carax is an object in which the concept of the shell transcends the idea of enclosure, becoming instead an expression of structural harmony.
