Stool Tacto – a new height of delicate balance
The Tacto bar stool is a natural evolution of the collection, reinforced by professional recognition and its victory at the Archiproducts Design Awards. Its characteristic tactility and gentle plasticity gain a new functional expression, adapted for HoReCa and contemporary public interiors.
The aesthetic of Tacto speaks the language of closeness and care – universal forms of touch capable of bringing people together. Its identity is shaped by the subtle interplay of elements, forming a composition that seems to pause in the moment. The surfaces of the stool approach one another, stopping at the threshold of merging, as if the structure is held together not by hardware, but by mutual consent. The name Tacto refers to the Latin tactus, meaning “touch,” serving as an homage to the idea of sensitive connection.
In its new counter-height and bar-height versions, Tacto preserves its recognizable character while gaining a more expressive verticality. The silhouette is defined by a grouping of simple, sculptural volumes: a rounded backrest that flows into the rear legs delicately supports the monolithic seat. The increased height emphasizes the structural logic of the form. Elongated legs in a soft textile finish hold the structure in a state of gentle equilibrium, while a stainless-steel footrest becomes a functional accent that completes the composition.
